This beige is anything but basic. With an unexpected soft pink tint, it resembles the inside of an oyster. Delicate and natural, it’s a lovely choice to bring depth and complexity to any project.

 

Milk paint by Fusion™  is an ancient all-natural paint containing milk protein (casein), limestone, clay, chalk and natural pigments. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and is naturally mould resistant. Milk paint provides a completely breathable coating and is ideal for painting wood, plastering, drywall and a variety of other surfaces. It is environmentally friendly  and contains no VOCs. Milk paint comes in a powder.


Milk paint by Fusion also gives you the ability to easily add distressing, chipping, flaking, rubbed or otherwise cottage chic appearance to give your pieces a one-of-a-kind vintage look.


A Milk Paint finish is unique and can range from a solid colour to a stain, it all depends on how much water you add

Each 330g  bag will contain enough powder to mix up a litre of paint, witch covers approximately 100 sq. feet. With the 50g bag you will be able to do a small project of approx. 15sq. feet.

 


Clean your furniture piece using Fusion™ TSP biodegradable degreaser.   Some surfaces such as melamine, high gloss, glass, metal, veneer and plastic will require a coat of Ultra Grip adhesion primer. Leave 12 hours (or overnight) before painting. Adding Ultra Grip (Bonding Agent) to the mixture directly is also an option.

Mixing: Mix approximately 1 part water to 1 part milk paint powder.

Apply Milk Paint with any brush to your surface. Each coat dries within 15-30 minutes and can be re-coated immediately once dried. Lightly sand with fine grit sandpaper in between coats for a smoother finish.

Apply a top coat to seal your Milk Paint and bring out the true depth of colour. This will also protect your paint for a finish that lasts generations. Fusion HEMP OIL, STAIN AND FINISHING OIL AND WAX  are great, easy to use options!
